Main changes are:
  • OGL doesn't create Screenshots with F12
  • Pipe Character doesn't set the next character to pink
  • Game no longer re-compiles SAIL code when code.bin exists
  • improved synclog

Note: OGL will now create screenshots like DD does but only if Steam is not initialised (Pointless having two sets of screenshots). SyncLog's are now named \debug\LOG_<COMPUTERNAME>_SyncLog_<NUMBER>.txt and contain more information. Sync Logs can be compared with other players of the same game to work out what went wrong (But only if you have all players logs for that game).

In general, 2.0.5.9 is fine, some simple but annoying issues I'd request be fixed before this is a final relase. Belief is on OW just now somehow that 2.0.5.x is the new patch, how that is, is beyond my understanding. From what I see split is around 25-75 or 50-50 release / wip at most (Perhaps my idea with a big caption in red wasn't so bad).

Pretty sure I reported those in the WIP section but these would highly benefit from being fixed before a final release

  • Unable to minimize Direct Draw
  • Direct Draw crashes when F6 (Window Mode) is toggled, log below
  • Menus are rendered in in-game resolution (ie. 1024x768) rather than 800x600 - wrong and looks bad

OGL on the otherhand is fine, if you could be bothered however this has not been working:
  • Unable to minimize OW with OGL
In order to achieve this on OGL, user has to scroll through windows until they find desktop, then change their screen resolution to what it was. Getting back to the game is also as annoying: change screen resolution to 800x600 in order to get OW to 'full screen' mode.

Nevertheless, my OGL claim remains valid; although I doubt much can be done given that it never worked in the respect I mentioned.

No objections to this being the release patch

I said to open the launcher and goto the configuration bit (And that was in April 2016). It literally states "Alternate Fullscreen". I don't see how you need any mind reading capabilities with instructions like that.

after instaling 2.0.5.9 somehow destroy my game.

1. nobody sees my servers (on 2.0.5.7 and lower everyone saw my servers.)

2. when i try to join to someone server, it crashed. everytime.

IIRC the multiplayer protocol was increased so everyone needs 2.0.5.9 to see it.

The crash relates to Gallery Code which has not changed one single bit since 2.0.5.7 . Run XichtEd and click on Multi Avatar, then click on Import and it will set your Multiplayer Avatar. That will make it stop using the Random Avatars. I have seen someone post that error in the past but i have never been able to re-create the error.

yes, i played with friends on 2.0.5.9 and actually we played before christmas on my server, then i turn off computer, and after christmas we want play again but nobody sees my servers. + nobody from 2.0.4.9 sees my servers from DediManager.
reinstaling OW dont work

If it worked and then it doesn't after restart then i don't see how its the games fault if it was working before restarting.
