McBenn was working on this, I tried to help, but my lack of sophistication in SAIL didn't help me to be self-sufficient, so I always ended up asking for a solution instead of breaking my head searching for myself.
We're now busy with the Arabian Campaign. But if I can be of help with some coding, bring it on!

And yes, I agree with organizing the Scripting in small tasks.

Was and partly is working on it. Actually it has reached a state where it works but with limits (e.g. it can only control Americans). I presented it to Radzio and Stu in late February this year but Radzio was kinda busy so final testing wasn't due until mid August. There Radzio shredded it to pieces (exaggerating it a little here :P) mainly because of two things: It wasn't challenging enough and it was (and still is) huge (about 24k lines of code) which heavily affects compile time. I've improved it since then, but Radzio and Stu believe macros are a better solution so that's where we are now - researching macros. Radzio was progressing well last time I spoke to him but I believe he is busy with the source code now. So Radzio if you find time then please update the wiki with your knowledge about macros so we others can benefit from it :)

Fascinating! And i am wondering where has it reached at this point? it would be a blast to be able to play multiplayer games in Co-op vs AI.

But there's a long way till that road i guess.

For now, could the latest skirmish update be posted?
I did try the crude leftover of altar where they build their base and such, so the new one makes the AI attack you ?
(Did run an all out attack and i was surprised to see they reacted quite natural, piled up soldiers in bunker and moved all the troops to the attacked zone.)

Huh, didn't know Altar had actually made some sort of skirmish AI.

Personally I haven't done anything about AIs since [date of my last post]. Haven't even checked how the macro research is proceeding. I'm all into the Arabian Campaign atm.
Yup my AI attacks and all but in a rather general way so it works on every map (which means it's not that intelligent). I had plans to improve it so you could customize its attack strategy to the current map but that never came to fruition since it was rejected.
