I accidentally found this page and read through this forum. Unfortunately, I am not American nor Englishman but Swiss, but my English skills are good and I manage to imitate a British accent quite well. I do not know how well I would do if I tried to imitate the American English.

An advice: To imitate an american voice, you can search for audio files where you hear them, I think trying to simulate their "wha-whas" is one important point to start on.
