Hi. When you want to add water image(.wi) to Grndsc show error:

I know it is not now as important as the game itself but it is imparted to fix it.

Did you follow the tutorial on the wiki to create the water image?

Patch 1.10 and oldest:
gbi. + wi. = gbi with waves
but Grndsc in 1.11 can't load GBI so adding waves according to the guide it's not possible.

Hello. I'm having the EXACT SAME error. And what do you mean with "first bit" of it? The editor part? Because the "importing stuff into grndsec" part doesn't work for us... Unless there's something you know that we don't know.

But it's pointless to only do that... How can the Editor know where are the waves and stuff? This is making me feel stupid.

Sure. But that doesn't solve our problem, Stucuk. And as you see we've tried and it "may not" work.

And where's the part where the waves appear? I already did that without success... Lots of times before you tell me.

The previous nights this was almost pissing me off...
Who coded Grndsec v2.0?... Sigh.

I'm sorry if this offends a little bit, but I need to say it: Please stop playing with us and give the solution to this problem. The more time you play around and hit around the bush, the more time we lose in our mod projects (AKA Arabian Nights for me).

If you can get water to work you can get waves to work with the same steps except where you import the water anim. I coded v2.0 ages ago, its a 1.11 thing. Im not "playing" with anyone, your saying i know some secret formula when i don't. I have only said what should work. The last time i tried doing waves was at the time i wrote how to do it and no one gave a shit.

If you want me to test it then YOU need to supply me with the files your using. You should know this by now. I can't test what i don't have.

Note: Telling me im wasting your time is not a good way to get me to waste my time with your problems.

Found the problem. Loading the water image caused it to use GamePak (Which can be a OWP or a directory, basically its a filesystem) which was not initialised(Aka it was never created). It has nothing to do with changes to 2.0 but to a global file where definitions were added at some point to exclude that file's contents from being included in grndsec (Speeds up loading time and reduces memory usage if you don't load everything OW does).

As no one has used water images with 1.11, it has never poped up before.
