 Post subject: Multiplayer - Selecting a mod

To play multiplayer with a mod the host needs to setup GameSpy Arcade to launch the modlauncher.exe insted of owar.exe.

To do this follow the following steps

1. Goto GameSpy->Options
2. Click on Games then My Games
3. Find Original War and click on it.
4. In the program location bit replace the owar.exe text with ModLauncher.exe (it will be located at the end)

Note that only the host needs to do this.

The players obvacly need the mod, but only ppl who are going to host games need to follow the tutorial.

so the people's game should automatically change to selected mod?

As long as they have the mod yes.

Basicaly when a player connects to a host the player sends what mod he/she is currently running. If its different to the host the player gets kicked and is sent the name of the mod the host is running. The players Owar changes to the mod the host is using (if he/she has it) and then reconects to the host.

Its all done in a second or so.
