I posted in my topic in general section... And I'm added two notes (in russian of course) : 1. Do not change level of skills more than 10, because the character's stamina will be weaker... 2. Do not try to hack the levels with cheating programms such as Amoney, because you are not finding those digits...

Please, can you post a SAIL example of identifying a character?

-Also, I would like to see how this works when you need to use the same one in another mission.-

example:
Code:
john=NewCharacter('JMM');
PlaceUnitArea(john,area);

this code will create a new (unchanged) character [john] who will be a character with identifier (in start.txt) [JMM] and then it will place him in area [area]
at the end of mission you should save character
Code:
SaveCharacters(john,'JMM');

and in next mission use this code to load saved character
Code:
john=CreateCharacter('JMM');

Note: CreateCharacter loads a character from save but NewCharacter always loads (unchanged) character from start.txt

do you understand? is it useful?

Radzio, this is GREAT, it's one of the barriers that was not letting me go further.. Now, If my "define Characters.wri" or something like that has only one character, will be a problem or a crash?

One question:
- Can you remember me what command should I use to put that unit (suppose John) in the map? Place UnitXY?-

PD: forget that question, place unit in area is your answer, right? :) I've not readed that before!!! :oops:

PlaceUnitXY - to place unit in XY position or
PlaceUnitArea - to place unit in area

but before the mission starting you should use
Code:
var RobertS;

to add this identifier
