Hi all!

I'm surprised that Original War is still alive and kicking, and that's wonderfully positive thing! Good thing that Altar hasn't forgot to keep up their good work.

Anyways, as many have noticed that there are some fellows who are passionately waiting for skirmish-mod for OW, so am I. I know it's still some kind of a daydream, but I'll keep my hopes up that maybe some day there will be some sort of possibility to be able to kick some 'bot' butt ;)

Stu, great work on updates and maintaining this support site.

There isnt much altar support the last few patches are all made by the community

Ah, ok, I just though that they (Altar) are giving some sort of effort by letting someone from the community (Stu?) to get hands on to the source code, am I right?

I was supprised when they agreed to let me maintain OW. I am not a member of Altar Games btw (some ppl have thought this dispite the fact i only speak english) nor do i get payed.

Alot of whats in the patches is down to the community members suggesting things. Buildup time for example, which seems to be killing off rushes. (First RTS game i know of thats comercial and has an anti-rush method. Granted its only on 4 maps so far.)

Its down to the fact its community driven that the patches are better than most commercial companies changes to games (which are generaly as few as possible to save them money)

Yes its driven off early rushes but they still attack with as many heavy guns as it can, they need to be nerfed imo, they cost a bit more then a laser and do better dmg yet can be mass produce

im not going to ballance the game. The main reason being that single could become screwed by changing how much dmg things do.

You the users can easily make a mod which alters the vehciles dmg.

with build time is not easy to win after 10 min with only heavy guns :P
i don't think good will be changing damage of this weapon
