Thanks for this site. It has been an amazing quick reference guide for me and I love that you're still updating it(I assume you're still playing minecraft) and has been permenantly on my bookmarks bar for a long time now :)

Just a few quick things that have been bugging me and slowly have built up to me tracking you down and making this post:

-"Smooth Full Half-Slab" is now 43:8 (available through the /give command)
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File: ... e_slab.png

-"Smooth Sandstone Full Half-Slab" is 43:9 (available through the /give command)
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File: ... f-Slab.png

-32 Dead Shrub - is obtainable in survival with shears and doesn't need a light-blue number

-78 Snow - is craftable in survival

-138 Beacon - is obtainable in survival

-384 Bottle of Enchanting - is obtainable in survival

-302-305 Chainmail Armors - are obtainable in survival

-30 Web - is actually named "Cobweb" (sorry bad OCD bad)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Also I saw your post on here from last year about labeling silk touch'ed blocks on the page.

I have currently stayed away from silk touch. It makes life problematic as 99% of blocks can then be classified as obtainable even though most people won't have silk touch applied to a pickaxe.

At the top of the IDList page it says: ID's which are Light Blue can only be obtained through spawning.

Sorry I don't mean that to sound rude :( I only mean to point out a discrepancy. For me personally I hope you could consider changing your stance on it? More blocks have been added that are only available through silk touch. I do lovvve that you keep the page as clean and as simple as possible, but I wonder if something can be figured out. The best idea I could come up with is adding an asterisk after the item ID number that indicates silk touch. That way the type can stay white for survival, and blue for creative. I have no idea how that'll look and might look weird, but just throwing ideas at you. If you do consider it here's a handy list of things that would need to change to indicate obtained through silk touch.

2 Grass
16 Coal Ore
21 Lapis Lazuli Ore **oh hey this one's already white
30 Cobweb
56 Diamond Ore
73 Redstone Ore
79 Ice
99 Brown Mushroom (Block)
100 Red Mushroom (Block)
110 Mycelium
124 Redstone Lamp (On)
129 Emerald Ore

Thanks for reading this :)

Each time there is a new patch or snapshot i try to update the website within 24 hours(With the main aim of putting up the ID numbers and crafting recipes. Images for example are a low priority). I haven't played Minecraft in a few months, though when i do its mainly on Crazy-Fools.

Thanks for the corrections, unfortunately things always slip through the cracks when they change stuff(Snow originally couldn't be crafted for example and there were no villagers to give you Chainmail).

I don't consider it rude to give constructive criticisms. Its very good to receive them. It properly is far from what you wanted but i have added a bit more clarity to the wording. I personally don't want to keep track of which blocks can be obtained through silk touch as they could easily change it without listing it in patch notes. I would also like to keep the ID List as simple as possible(In my opinion it should be obvious to most which blocks can be obtained through silk touch).

P.S There actually was a Cobweb alias already setup (Web is now the alias). There is actually quite a few names which doesn't match Minecraft's names (The carpets for example), though thats mainly to make the names more uniform or accurate. Potions being the exception, they use different names because the actual names are too long(They caused potions names to take up 2 lines which looked odd).

Thanks man :) you're the man for keeping it updated. I'm sorry to hear about silk touch, though it's not so bad cause I didn't realize how much they had trimmed that down (I thought you could still silk touch double half slabs and stuff) so I didn't realize there's only 12 silk touch blocks. Plus I doubt the powered Redstone Lamp will stay that way :P

Here's a couple more I realize we missed:
145:0 Anvil
145:1 Slightly Damaged Anvil
145:2 Very Damaged Anvil

Thanks, I have updated the list. I have also re-written the Light Blue ID text again (Wasn't happy with the wording).

P.S The ID List should load faster than it did as it now (Well has since April 30th) uses Atlas's for the images.
