Heyo, I've been working with the mcedit guys and used your id list (http://www.minecraftinfo.com/idlist.htm) to determine older block names and ids and it was very helpful!

Thought I should let you know the mistaken ones though :P

log:4 is wrong. log2:4 is correct which is already on there, so log:4 can be deleted
log:5 is wrong. log2:5 is correct which is already on there, so log:5 can be deleted

107 fence_gate Fence Gate (Oak) (need to add "(Oak)" at the end)
183 spruce_fence_gate Fence Gate (Spruce)
184 birch_fence_gate Fence Gate (Birch)
185 jungle_fence_gate Fence Gate (Jungle)
186 dark_oak_fence_gate Fence Gate (Dark Oak)
187 acacia_fence_gate Fence Gate (Acacia)

190 jungle_fence Fence (Jungle)

38:3 red_flower:3 Azure Bluet (Houstonia)
^This one's funny. Its variant and block name is Houstonia but its English name is Azure Bluet

144 skull Mob Head
^Another funny one. You have 144:1,144:2,144:3,144:4 listed as Wither,Zombie,Steve, and Creeper heads, but they are no longer that way (or maybe they never were?). It treats those mob types as skin data and all that data is stored in the tile entity data now. Block datas 1-15 for 144 just directional facings. The item versions of them (numbers 397:0-4) are all still fine.

Anyway thanks again for your site! Feel free to check out what I used it for: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1538106887
On that doc I put everything into one damn place:
* Block ID (1:1)
* Current 1.7/1.8 Block name:usage (stone:1)
* NEW block name (granite) we think, it's all the file names in \assets\minecraft\blockstates
* Default name (tile.stone.granite.name)
* In-Game Name (Granite)

Feel free to use that information for yourself i you like! There might be even more on that page if you receive this message late :P

At least with 1.7 they do exist, they are just a rotated version of the Oak log. There are actually more of them, but the only reason the 2 are listed were because Mojang originally had some of the log2 stuff as part of log before they did the rotated logs.

I have been meaning to get round to adding the Gates (Forgot that i hadn't added them). They have been added now.

When they were added they had 1-4 for there Secondary ID as far as i remember as i would have tried spawning them (Since you could spawn by id number back then rather than having block and item with the same ID Name).

Ahh. Dunno how you're handling it but that one is removed in 1.8 and isn't really used at all in survival that I know of. Currently it's a purple/black checkerboard block.

Also that list of New Block Names I posted. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1538106887) We're not 100% sure on if that's how it's going to go, but it really does seem like it. Would make a lot of sense for them to change stuff like red_flower:5 into orange_tulip anyway. Dunno might be something that's useful to be prepared for for your site. We mostly pulled it from all the file names in the assets folder.

Its unlikely. The only reason its red_flower:5 is because originally there was only a red flower. Then they expanded the class so that it could display a different texture for different flowers based on the metadata the block stored (Secondary ID), but kept the same name for it.
